Changing IP address in SunOs 5.6

Hello,

I have a few boxes running SunOS 5.6 and they are to have new IP addresses
assigned to them. Some of them are in a different location so I will make the
changes remotely. Since these are 7/24 boxes, is there a way to chage just the
IP information (not hostname) and appyling these changes without rebooting, or
is a reboot mandatory? Also, I just want to confirm the files that need to be
manually edited for the new IP to take effect...

/etc/hosts
/etc/inet/hosts
/etc/inet/netmasks
/etc/defaultrouter
/etc/netmasks

Thanks in advance for your help.

David
