Jumpstarting from Linux?

Hi,

I have a running linux machine, a Solaris 9 DVD and a Sun without
CD drive. Now I have setup a Jumpstart Server on the Linux machine.
Since setup_install_server doesn't run properly on Linux machines,
I've copied the DVD as it is. I guess that might be the reason
for the problems, maybe setup_install_server somehow modifies the
Solaris Boot directory.

I have two problems:

- After printing

    Configured interface bge0

the machine hangs, but the progress indicator is still rotating.
No visible network traffic. Pressing Ctrl-C on the console make
the machine go on with the installation process, but

- A little bit later, just before running the begin_skript this
  happens:

Please wait while the system is configured with your settings...
Generating software table of contents [this may take a few minutes...]
  cat: cannot open /cdrom/.cdtoc

It still tries to access the /cdrom drive, which does not exist.

Any idea what to change to make it run?

regards
Hadmut
