Hi,
I can advise you to use the Hewlett-Packard jd printer installer software.
It's very simple and easy to use. I'm using it currently on Sun Solaris 9 on
Sun Ultra E450.

Hi,
I have a problem with adding the network printer.
OS: Solaris 9
Network printer: HP LaserJet 1200
I tried to configure but it seems to me that there are some errors:
Banner: optional
Content types: postscript
Device: /dev/null
Interface: /usr/lib/lp/model/netstandard
Printer type: hplaser
Modules:
Options: dest=HPLJ1200-1-L215-215D:9100,protocol=tcp
HPLJ1200-1-L215-215D i the printer name
What I should write after dest= ? Should I add somewhere IP address? What
about device and interface. Maybe you know exact link where is
the software I should first download?
