Dear Sun Gurus,
I have this very new problem starting from just today.
When i try to telnet from my Windows machine to my Sun machine, which runs on
Solaris 2.8, i am getting this error message:
C:\Documents and Settings\dineshp\Desktop> telnet 186.23.1.34
SunOS 5.8
login: root
Password:
No utmpx entry. You must exec "login" from
Connection to host lost.
C:\Documents and Settings\dineshp\Desktop>
I had also tried to telnet using a normal user account but am getting is
error message.
The machine is a Sun Blade 150.
Please advice as i am not too good with unix.
Thanks and regards,
Dinesh Paul
