SUMMARY: Sun Volume Manager forceload warnings on bootup

Many thanks to all those who replied.
The consensus is that the messages are benign and normal, a result of
the system only
using mirrors and not being configured for metatrans, raid5, hotspares,
and soft partitions.
They come from lines in the /etc/system file. It is not recommended to
edit those lines, although it might be ok provided your system never
needs metatrans, raid5, hotspares, and soft partitions. If you do
comment them out, use "*" rather than "#" for
the system file. And if SVM ever needs them, be sure to uncomment them
and reboot
first.

Just installed Solaris 9 4/03 on a V120 and have mirrored the two
internal drives.
When booting I get the following 4 WARNING messages:
forceload of misc/md_trans failed
forceload of misc/md_raid failed
forceload of misc/md_hotspares failed
forceload of misc/md_sp failed
....
