I was wondering if someone can confirm whether running remote shell or XDM
(XDMCP), from a Windows 2000/XP client using software such as X-Win32 or
Exceed, transmits text userid/password?
I'm in the process of evaluating packages for Windows clients and I was able
to capture userid/password, using "snoop", when connecting to our E5500
server using rexec and Windows "telnet". I don't see the userid/passwd when
using "rsh" or XDM. Did I just miss it?
