Hello sunmanagers,
We have a solaris 7 production server and a DR server.
The user passwords on these two servers are somehow
different. I have been tasked to write a script to
automatically synchronize the user passwords on both
the servers. The catch is that the UID for many users
are not same for both th servers. I am planning to
write a script and put in cron that will copy
/etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, /etc/group to the DR server.
How do I take care of UID mismatch
