Hi
We use disksuite to mirror the OS slices /, /var, /usr and swap
on two identical internal disks. So the only progrms which write
on these slices are Solaris and sofwate which update log files
in /var...
Should we be worried about the 'write-on-write' problem? Does
solaris do raw or direct I/O?
If we turn on the flag
md_mirror:md_mirror_wow_flg=0x20
how much would be the performance hit?
any info/help/suggestions/pointers/real-life exp/ would be
greatly appreciated.
thanks
Durai
[will summarize, but only next week]
