Hi all,
Next month I will be implementing a Sun Cluster across 3 V1280's. We
are Clustering for HA only, for a number of applications including
oralce,sybase,weblogic,filenet. We are using a HDS9960 with inrange FC
switches for our SAN, using SUN 2GB dual channel PCI cards. We are still
deciding on OS version ( Solaris 8 or Solaris 9), we prefer to go with
Solaris 9 but may be forced to use Solaris 8 due to support for some vendor
applications...bah. We intend to use Disksuite/Solaris Volume Manager to
manage disks. I would appreciate a heads up on any issues you may have
exprienced with Sun Cluster 3.1 software and similar H/W configuration and
any suggestions you may have on OS version/Disksuite vs Vxvm etc. I will
summarise.
