Hi gurus,
1) What is the command to see what version of the Solaris O/S the machine
is running on? eg. If i install Solaris 8 10/01....how do i see it ?
2) I have installed Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition, v. 1.4.2
in a machine...what is the
command to see in Solaris to see what version of Java in installed in
the system.
3) In this web page:

I am using an Ultra 5 machine...so whould i install the 32bit or 64bit Java
software?
Also for SunBlade worstation...is it a 32bit or 64 bit OS? what is the
command to check this out aswell.
