Hello all,

I have heard rumors of Sun saying that it is bad to install Solaris 8 12/02 on Blade 2000 workstations. Has any body else heard this news? Is this correct? I have been told that it makes the workstation do weird things. Can anybody back this up? Have I been misinformed?

Configuration:
Sun Blade 2000
Dual 900 MHZ Ultrasparc III 8 mg cache
2GB memory
Two 73 GB 10K RPM FC-AL internal disks
Internal 10X DVD-ROM Drive
PCI Dual-channel Ultra-3 SCSI card
1000Base-SX, Dual Port FDDI card
