I'm a (somewhat) old hand at unix, but we are very new to Sun/Solaris,
so perhaps someone can offer a suggestion:
Platform: SunOS 5.9 sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-880
Problem:
It seems that not all 'ssh' sessions terminate. There are some
scp sessions from the Sun to other (Linux) Systems still in the
process list. Also, interactive sesstions to the Sun systems do not
always terminate when the logout is done.
Actually, it seems that not all jobs terminate.
They complete, but then they just sit there.
And this is not anything consistant -- sometimes a cron job that has
been running, completing, and exiting will just do the running and
completeing part -- not exit until ???-ever?
Any suggestions about these lingering jobs would be appreciated.
