Hi all,
People in our LAN just sometimes assign servers
IP for their linux and widows machines and hence
I get the following error messages.
Jul 30 16:56:42 sunserver ip: WARNING: IP: Hardware address '00:50:fc:4c:e0:d5
' trying to be our address 172.016.000.002!
How to find out which workstation is doing this because from the loga
we know only the MAC address?Is there any way using RARP
since we know the MAC address.
How to stop this? In our environment we cannot use DHCP also.
pls help me with some pts.
