SunRay Restricted Access Mode unix user account assignments

hmm, I was just writing up a summary of outstanding SunRay issues for
our users, and it struck me that there might be a simple solution for
this one.

Ristricted Access Mode (aka Kiosk mode) automatically assigns a unix
username (utcu1, utcu2, ...) to a particular device (SunRay Mac
address). Shutdown the server for some reason (extended power outage was
the latest), and they all get reassigned. I was using them for station
identification, printer routing, and print job identification. Suddenly
they are all scrambled, and I have to manually edit my printer routing table.

It occured to me that the SunRay Server Software (1.3) is probably doing
the assignments through DHCP or something like that. Then it occured to
me that maybe it would be possible to fix those assignments by editing
the setup.

Anyone have any ideas/knowledge/experience that might indicate how to go
about this?

TIA
