Hello Manangers,

I need your help with the following problem (is anyone here that saw this
kind of error?).
Thanks,

Daniel.

2 Sun Fire V880 Server
Solaris 9
Sun Cluster 3.0 (05/02)
SY.ase (Sybase Data Service for Sun Cluster 3.0)
Solstice Backup 6.1.3
L180 (fiber channel tape library)
SAN environment (6910 Storedge)

All softwares and firmwares's last patches are applied.

I have 2 instances of Sybase running in this cluster. The instance one,
called "veiculos" runs on node A, and the instance two, called "habilitacao"
runs on node B. The node B is the Backup Server. I have 2 storage node
licenses, and I'm running LAN Free backup to this two nodes.

My problem is: When I start the backup with the 2 instances of the database
at the node B, it runs OK. When the backup is started with the 2 instance at
the node A, I get the following error:

Jul 24 16:57:34 2003: Backup Server: 4.132.1.1: Attempting to open byte

I will appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Daniel.
