Good morning everyone.
I have an issue I am hoping one of you will be able to answer.
I have in my possession a few assorted machines, Ultra5's, 10's, E420's, and
E220's.
Some of them have Prom Hardware Passwords on them. Apparently a VERY security
conscious admin locked some of his machines down before his departure.
I know that if I swap the prom with another valid prom that I can get the
machines to work. Problem is, there are only so many spare proms lying around,
and seldom for the correct machine.
Does anyone know of another way to remove this password? It causes the system
to stop loading before the OBP even comes up.
