Hi,
I am in the midst of getting a jumpstart install going. And am
having problems. The install always reverts to interactive and it doesnt
seem to log why
sysidcfg is OK
rules.ok is OK according to the "check" script
When I try to test a profile with pfinstall, I get the following ouput.
###################################################################
loki:/jumpstart/sol8/install_files # /usr/sbin/install.d/pfinstall -D -c
/jumpstart/sol8/ /jumpstart/sol8/install_files/mem-302-700
Parsing profile
0: install_type initial_install
1: system_type standalone
2: partitioning default
3: filesys c0t0d0s1 auto swap
4: cluster SUNWCall
Processing profile
Please reboot the system.
There are inconsistencies in the current state of
the system which only a system reboot can solve.
######################################################################
The sytem is an Ultra-10 running Solaris 8.
Needles to say a reboot does not fix the problem. The system is patched
with the current recommendeed cluster (18/07/03). There is nothing
unusual in /var/adm/messages and all seems otherwise happy.
I'm at a loss. I need to get the profile tested as the next step in
debugging the jumpstart configuration.
Profile file is
######################################################################
install_type initial_install
system_type standalone
partitioning default
filesys c0t0d0s1 auto swap
cluster SUNWCall
#######################################################################
Any Ideas?
