Issue with Clearcase on Solaris 8

Hi,
I'm a new user to the group and this is my first posting so I'd appreciate if you can let me know if I'm missing on any information.

I've Clearcase version 4.2 server installed on Solaris 8 on Sun E420 . Off late I'm having a strange issue.
Windows users are not able to connect to VOB whereas any Unix users are able to connect to VOB. This issue is being resolved only by rebooting the server.

I'd appreciate if any of you can guide me to what I need to look into as I'm relatively new to Clearcase on Solaris.
