Dual color bar with Xinerama

Hi all,

  I have a question. I thought it was not possible to
use dual color bar with xinerama enabled, because the
system considers it has a unique screen. So, users who
want to use dual color bar don't use xinerama.
  But there's a user who's been using both
inadvertently since last year without problem. Since
yesterday he can't use dual color bar anymore. The
question is: why could he use both without problem
until now? He's using a sun blade 2000 running solaris
8 with level 16 system patch.
  Does anybody know if there is some patch for system
or xvr-1000 graphic board that could make it possible
to use dual color bar with xinerama?
