I installed disk suite 4.1 on a ultra 1 running solaris 2.6, that
already had pc net link (the microsoft killer) installed, and working
for at least a year. On reboot disk suite worked as it should, the
lmxserver and lmxdmn failed rather silently. The rc3.d start scripts
report no error, and net start server reported an error 6060 (or
something like that), which directed me to net help which directed me
to the logs, which had nothing valuable in it.
I quickly uninstalled disk suite (SUNWmd, SUNWmdn, and SUNWmdg) and
rebooted then pc net link started to work again (many previous reboots
with disk suite installed did not work).
Is anyone aware of a patch that remedies this problem, sun solve
revealed nothing apropos to this type of problem.
