Our environment has a Sun Ray Session Server on a network with numerous PC workstations. Collaboration and Video/audio conferencing has become a hot topic. We can do point to point collaboration between a Sun Ray running SunForum and a PC workstation running NetMeeting, but we have not been able to do a conference in which multiple Sun Ray's and multiple PC's can be in the same conference. My research on ways to do this have come up empty.
We have tried hosting a conference two ways:
1. When hosting the conference on a Sun Ray, only Sun Ray users can join the conference.
2. When hosting a conference on a Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server (which is running MS conferencing sortware), only PC workstation users can join the conference.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can give me information on any or all of the following:
1. Is there a way to host a conference on a Sun Ray such that Sun Ray and PC users both can join the conference?
2. Is there a way get Sun Ray's to join a conference hosted on a Microsoft Exchange Conferencing server?
3. What other conferencing software is available that may meet this requirement of hosting a conference involving multiple Sun Rays and mutliple PC workstations.
