Hi,
We are using humming bird xterm to login to sun solaris machines.
I'm login sheel is 'ksh'

$ps -f
UID PID PPID C STIME TTY TIME CMD
dilipm 3098 3097 0 09:55:54 pts/9 0:00 ksh
------------
As per my knowledge the initilazation script for ksh is '$HOME/.profile'
I have made some entry in this $HOME/.profile file
ie
-------
$more .profile
stty erase ^H
export PS1="`hostname` \$PWD > "
. .aliases_dilip
-------------
more $HOME/.aliases_dilip
alias xb='/usr/openwin/bin/xterm -fn 9x15 -sb -sl 3000 -bg black -fg white &'
---------
My problem is everything is working except the last line(ie . .aliases_dilip)
I need to type it manully :))
What may be problem ?
