Logical Disk Size

Hi
I got a Storedge 3310 connected to SunFire 480 (running Solaris 8) . Three
partition was first configured with size 10gb, 10gb and 50gb at the array end.
The host was able to detect and format after I did a devfsadm. The logical
drive size were all correct as it shown in slice 2 on all disk.
The problem comes when I decided to change the partition size at the storage
array end. The partition size were reconfigured to 10gb and 30gb. Hence I
performed devfsadm again on the host and the 3rd logical drive disappeared
(which was correct since I only share out 2 partition at the storage end). But
when I run format and print the partition of the 2nd logical drive, slice 2
reported as 10gb instead of detected as 30gb. I had reboot the host, reset the
controller at the storage end but no result.
Why is it so ? Need advise for expert.

regards
Jo
