Hello all !
I inserted 2 new disks (FC-AL 72G/Seagate - ST373405FSUN72G) in a A5x00 Array.
The disks are visible by format and luxadm display (See at the end of this
mail)
The firmware is not up to date ! But, before spending my weekend with patching
i just want to check if i didn't miss anything.
The System is a E3500 with Solaris 8 Veritas VM 3.1.1
I did a devfsadm -c disk and vxdctl enable.
But the only c4* disks seen with vxdisk list are:
c4t0d0s2 sliced orig00 sapALI online
c4t2d0s2 sliced orig02 sapALI online
c4t5d0s2 sliced orig05 sapALI online
c4t6d0s2 sliced mirr03 sapAL online
c4t10d0s2 sliced mirr01 sapAL online
c4t16d0s2 sliced orig01 sapALI online
c4t19d0s2 sliced orig04 sapALI online
c4t22d0s2 sliced orig03 sapALI online
c4t26d0s2 sliced mirr02 sapAL online
missing is c4t1d0 and c4t8d0.
I also tried:
# vxdiskadd c4t8d0
# No matching disks were returned.
Did i miss a step ? Any ideas ?
