Dear Sun gurus,
I am having problem trying to copy the content of my tape to my hard disk.
1) First I did a "drvconfig"
2) reboot -- -r
3) I did a "mt st" and got the follwing output:
Archive Python 4mm
Helical Scan tape drive: Sense key ( 0x0 ) = No Additional Sense
residual= 0 retries= 0 file no= 0 block no= 0
4) tar xvf /dev/rmt/0
But when i do a " tar xvf /dev/rmt/0" ..... i can hear the tape being read
but noting is stored to the current directory i am working on
However if i do a tar tvf /dev/rmt/0 ... i can see the contents of my tape.
Can you please tell me how to copy the files to my HDD.
