after several hours with sun we are not able to determine why /dev/sg will
not
populate after several boot -r 's and what not. at this point i have
mounted
the filesystems since they are visable by 'format' and every is functioning.
I
still am uneasy about this situation. These links aren't even populating
for
the local disks. Thanks to anyone in advance that can indicate the drawbacks
or possible solutions for this particular situation.

the OS isn't using the lower controller numbers anymore so i'm wondering if
