SUMMARY: Unable to set 100M/Full Duplex on /dev/ce

Several people suggested that I attempt to set interfaces individually using 'ndd -set /dev/ce instance 0' prior to the adv_xxxx_cap commands. I have tried this as well as the suggestions to use 'ndd -set /dev/ce link_master 0'. Neither of these were successful.

Since posting my initial message, I have found a bug report that forcing 100/Full on a V1280 does not work and that we should instead use autonegotiation. Using autoneg, the interface continues to come up at 100/Half rather than 100/Full even though the port is set to 100/Full. So, in order to eliminate the collisions, it looks as though I have to get our network guys to force the port to 100/Half rather than the 100/Full it is currently set to until Sun gets this fixed...
