Hey everyone:
Got a quick question (newbed I'm sure... :\ )
I have a SPARC5 workstation I'm trying to setup and configure, without a
graphics card. I can use a console cable and get into Cisco routers, can I
do the same thing with a SPARC? I'm tryin to connect a 9-25 serial cable
from a serial port on my laptop to the serial port A on teh sparc. I have
my Hyperterminal session setup for 9600-8-N-1 and I cant get any output in
my screen.
Is what I'm tryin to do possible? If so, how the heck do I do it? I've
tried the little serial adapter with rj-45 on the end that came with a
280R we've got, I've tried a 9-25 serial, I cant get anythign to work.
Anyone got any ideas?
