tmpfs bytes/inode ratio?

Hi all,

I'm having problems with tmpfs. Basically I have more than
enough space but nowhere near enough inodes. I'm trying to
use it for a CVS lock and temp directories in chroot jails,
since CVS kinda sucks for performance on Solaris without
it's lock and temp directories being on tmpfs.

Is there a way to vary the bytes:inode ratio on tmpfs, it's
currently around 45kb/inode which is more than a bit on the
high side.

Please reply directly, if anyone has the solution I'll
summarize to the list.

David.
