 Hi,

I need to duplicate package information from one Solaris server to another without
actually installing the package on the second server...

so I would be able to do a pkginfo on both servers for the said package and get the same
information. I need this for reference on the second server.

Iv considered coping over the files from /var/sadm/pkg and extracting the info from the contents file
and adding it to the second server. Is this the best/only way ?? any ideas appreciated .

   (Using Solaris 8 02/02 )

   Rgds,
   Liam
