Ftp issue

Hi Gurus,

I want to know the below ftp issue i have, the issues
is when i ftp from the current dir where ever i am, i
am unable to get the files by giving "get
full-path-of-file) . but when i go to the directory
and try getting the file, it is able to do ftp... any
clues?? i have both the systems running Solaris 2.8
OS.
