Hello Managers,
I have a production server which has a file system where there are two
directories
each one of them holding over 20000 files and this file system is being
shared thru Samba
where there are about 10 users who access this data.

The problem we have is that this have become a real pain for users where
sometime they
have to wait a long time for these file on this two directory to be refresh
and made available
to them.

Changing file system lay out is not a choice here. Does anyone has any idea
of what could
be a solution to this problem. We have had someone working with Samba for
sometime now
and it seems like there is not much we could do it with by now.

Any other product beside Samba which will allow us to do the reverse of
Samba and that's
nfs mount from pc to a Unix server?

Thanks very much,
Vinnie.
