Managers,
We have a Sun SparcStorage Library (Exabyte-210) which has an Exabyte
8505XL tape drive, it backs up a local 70GB drive. I have successfully
backed data up and restored it, however, it will not automatically
advance to the next tape in the library. I have checked that the
'Interface menu - Control Mode ' setting is set to 'Sequential 1'. When
I issue an 'mt -d /dev/rmt/0cn rewoffl' command, it properly advances,
however in operation, the ufsdump process, when EOT is reached, asks 'is
the next volume is loaded ?', and 'is the tape ready ?'.
Could use some assistance / diagnostic suggestions.
