Console Terminal Servers

Good morning,

We have E3500s and E6500s at remote locations running Solaris 2.6 and soon
to be Solaris 8 and Solaris 9.

All the E3500s and E6500s have Graphics Screen/Keyboards connected so that
the sites can have GFX capabilities.

However, we also have a centralized NOC type facilities where we would like
to be able to connect to the CONSOLE (ttya)
on each server.

We are using the Perle CS9000 unit at each site that connects all the
various servers (SUN, SGI, Raid Consoles..etc). These are console terminal
servers reachable via a network connection and then connecting to a serial
port.

I'm having an issue because the SUNs don't like the fact that I have a
graphics card and trying to redirect the console
to ttya.

Does anyone know how I can connect both the Console terminal to ttya and
have a graphics screen/keyboard, so that I can have a login via the ttya
port and a graphics terminal login as well.

I believe Solaris 8 has a command called "consadm" but I haven't gotten that
to work yet on Solaris 8. Solaris 2.6 we
haven't found a solution.

Any help would be appreciated.
TIA,

Dan
