we have several high-load smtp servers here mounting a mailstore from an
emc celerra (using maildir format). nfsstat is showing a high number of
cltoomany errors:
calls badcalls clgets cltoomany
93858567 4 93858189 7049616
if i understand correctly, this happens when the caches fill up (which
given the nature of maildir, makes sense). information seems to be very
sparse on the topic. i searched the archives and saw that this was
asked last year but no summary was given (if there was a resolution)..
so the question is, is this actually an indication of a problem, and how
can it be fixed?
i will summarize. thanks!
