dear managers,

      On one of my Ultra 5 machines running solaris 8,
i am encountering the following problem:

$ vi
"/var/tmp/ExiSayro" No space left on device

  when i check the /var/tmp directory, i have numerous
such files

aaaS_a4fd
caaSGaOTb
magicVAAUUaGBc
sconAAAi4ayIL:0.0

   due to this my root file system has filled up. i
think it was only a matter of time before it happens
in the other machines. The other machines also have
such entries in the /var/tmp directory. Do i just
delete these files?

  what do they mean and do they have significance. any
help will be greatly appreciated. thanks in
advance...i will summarize.

ravi
