password synchronization

I am trying to implement password synchronization between Windows 2000
AD and Solaris 7 & Solaris 8 (NIS) using Microsoft Windows Services for
Unix 3.0. We want users NIS Passwords to change with their NT passwords.
The limited technical documentation indicates that the product fits into
our production environment.

So far I have been able to install and configure both the Solaris and
Windows modules. But when an NT password changes, synchronization fails
with the following error messages.

In /var/adm/messages:
May 30 11:13:10 blanco ssod:[3046]: Failed to update password Error:
UNDEFINED ERROR User: xxxx04

The message from the windows domain controller:
Unable to update password for user.
user = xxxx04
 check if user Account is locked, expired or disabled

/etc/sso.conf parameters has been configured to match corresponding
parameters on the Windows side.

Any ideas? Is anyone using Microsoft Services for Unix Password Sync? I
will appreciate any insight offered.
