On my E6500 my network is connected to the MII port using a MII
transceiver.

At bootup the my network card shows that I'm connected at
100 Mbps Full-Duplex on the hme device:

hme: [ID 517527 kern.info] SUNW,hme0 : External Transceiver Selected.
hme: [ID 517527 kern.info] SUNW,hme0 : 100 Mbps Full-Duplex Link Up

However, I get the wrong information when I run the following:

# ndd -get /dev/hme link_mode
0

Which is half duplex.

# ndd -get /dev/hme link_status
0

Which indicates the network is down.

# ndd -get /dev/hme link_speed
0

Which indicates 10 Mbps.

My network people checked their end and they say that I'm connected
at 100 Mbps Full-Duplex.

What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Mark
