Veritas expand/relayout help

Hi all;

I think I've been living in SDS-land too much lately, as I can neither
remember or find in the documentation how to expand a disk under
veritas volume manager.

I've got a RAID5 volume consisting of a single RAID5 plex (no log
plex), with four disks arranged in four columns. I have two other
subdisks that I want to associate with the plex, and then relayout
into a three column, two-disk-deep RAID5 set. At this point, I'd
be happy to make it a six-column plex if that's what it took to get
the disks in!

However, when I associate the new subdisks with the plex, they add
in the RECOVER subdisk state. If I try to 'vxassist relayout' the
plex, it claims there's no space available; and vxprint shows that
the plex is still the four-disk RAID5 size.

How can I grow this damned thing again? I will summarise for those
whose memories are as bad as mine.

Thanks,
Colin
