Hi,

I am trying to jumpstart a Netra X1 with Solaris 9 and I'm having some
problems getting past a few things.
I'm not having the dmfe driver problem, as that seems to be

My environment is as follows:

Jumpstart server V880 with Solaris 8 2/02 - cylon
Solaris 9 - 1st hardware release
Netra X1

I am able to start with the jumpstart but at some point it starts
complaining about not able to open /cdrom/.cdtoc.

The relevant messages are:

Generating Software table of Contents
 cat Cannot open /cdrom/.cdtoc
 cat Cannot open /cdrom/.cdtoc
 expr syntax error
 expr syntax error
 cat Cannot open /cdrom/.cdtoc
Table of contents complete
..
..
..
Begin script install_begin execute completed
ERROR: Could not load the media (/cdrom)

Which then dumps me into shell and I try a df and it shows that my
jumpstart server is mounted on cdrom.

This is very strange, since this is nearly identical configuration I had
at another site where I worked. And that
Configuration worked flawlessly

Are there any known issues with the first hardware release of Solaris 9,
Jumpstart and Netra X1 combinations?

If anyone has an idea or has seen this problem, please let me know. I
will summarize for the list.

Thank you very much in advance!
