unlink /usr problem

Hi All,

 I am working on solaris 8 on Sparc platform. I tried
unlink /usr command. From then on I am not able to
issue any commands.

 I tried booting the machine with CDRom single user
mode and copy the usr contents, not sure whether this
will work but I ended up with no space left on
device..

Can u let me know what could have gone wrong and how
to rectify it.
