hi gurus,

   i am having a U2 running sol 8. when i do rup or
try to run perfmeter, i find out that rpc.rstatd is
not running.

        i looked at the inted.conf file and there is an entry
for rpc.rstatd. i tried restarting inted by giving a
SIGHUP signal though no luck but things work fine when
i fire it up manually. this is the entry in the
inetd.conf file

rstatd/2-4 tli rpc/datagram_v wait root
/usr/lib/netsvc/rstat/rpc.rstatd rpc.rstatd
