We have been having difficulty trying to install the OS to some new disks we
purchased.
The disks are the FC internal drives. The disks are Seagate ST39103FC and
ST39102FC drives.
As the SUN versions of these disks are no longer in production we purchased
the matching Seagate Part#.
With the ST39102FC drives we are not even able to successfully format them.
With the ST39103FC drives we are able to format and then install the OS, but
when trying to boot we get the following errors.
All help appreciated. I will summarize.
