Lost Veritas Volume Manager password

Howdy,

I'm writing this for a friend who has inherited a
system that has Veritas Volume manager running on it.
The problem is that no one botherd to write down or
otherwise preserve the password that the gui asks for.
Poor guy is having to do cli only.

Does anyone know how to recover this password?
