Dear list,
One of our clients has a server E450 running solaris
8, patch revision 108528-15, with the problem
described bellow.
During power up, or after a reset-all command at the
ok prompt, the message below will be displayed before
getting the ok prompt:
% Device /PCI@1f,4000/ebus@1/SUNW,envctrl@14,600000
being marked with 'status' = fail
Yellow service led is on.
During the boot process a warning message will be
displayed:
Warning : envctrl failed to load.
This is an application server and some help would be
very appreciated. I will summarize to the list.
