Hello all,
I'm considering trying to plug a Promise UltraTrak RM1500 ATA RAID up to a
solaris box. (The RM1500 makes 15 IDE hard drives appear as one bug, juicy
SCSI drive to the SCSI host.)
I've never even tried to use a non-Sun hard drive before. What issues am I
liable to run into when I try to format and newfs a drive that's not
recognized in format.dat -- especially a drive that thinks it's 3.5TB?
Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?
