All,
When I use tip command, I got following.
grizzlies# tip /dev/term/b
link down
I had this problem in past, and I was end up rebooting machine.
This problem appears again, and I do not want to reboot machine.
Is it possible to clear this "link down" problem WITHOUT rebooting Sun
Machine.
Configuration:
OS: Solaris 2.51 11/97
I have a Dial out only modem on /dev/term/b
Here what I have done so far:
1. Check for a lock file in /var/spool/locks. No Lock file.
2. # fuser /dev/cua/b
/dev/cua/b:
3. pmadm -l
4. pmadm -r -p zsmon -s ttyb
5. Re-create a Port using admintool.
After all of these, I am still getting "Link Down". I powered cycles modem
also.
Thanks
