Can't lookup hosts using NIS+

Hi

I am running NIS+ on a Ultra10 with Solaris 8. My problem is that even though
I have setup nsswitch.conf to search NIS+ maps first, I always get a 'Unknown
host' when trying to telnet (or whatever host access).
The hosts are correctly defined in the NIS+ databases (see below)

Can someone help?

Thanks a lot

Jean-Noel Colin

bash-2.03$ telnet S58-DEMO
S58-DEMO: Unknown host
bash-2.03$ niscat hosts.org_dir
S58-SRV1 192.168.2.201
S58-NIS-200 192.168.2.200
S58-DEMO 192.168.2.205
bash-2.03$ cat /etc/hosts
#
# Internet host table
#
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.2.201 S58-SRV1 loghost
192.168.2.200 S58-NIS-200
bash-2.03$ grep hosts /etc/nsswitch.conf
# "hosts:" and "services:" in this file are used only if the
hosts: nisplus dns files
# searching the hosts databases. Before turning this option on, consult
#hosts: nisplus dns [NOTFOUND=return] files
bash-2.03$
