Hello Gurus, I have a problem here.
Im using Solaris 8 with kernel patch 108528-13 and ppp patch 111299-09
The machine is an Ultra 10, and we are using an external intramod
ISDN modem
which about 2 weeks worked well.
now i can not make the connection the work, my isp assigns address in a
dinamic form
the whole connection seems to go smooth but when it tries to get an
address it fails
where it is the asppp.cf file
#
ifconfig ipdptp0 plumb 1.1.1.1 2.2.2.2 up
#
path
       inactivity_timeout 900 # Approx. 2 minutes
        interface ipdptp0
        debug_level 5
        negotiate_address on
        default_route
        peer_system_name isp-trb
        will_do_authentication pap
        pap_id mi_pap_id
        pap_password mi_pap_pass

and this is the /var/adm/log/asppp.log file

17:04:13 WARNING:

here it hangs and calls again and again, the ipdptp0 never gets and
address always gets 1.1.1.1 --> 2.2.2.2

I tried this same ISDN modem on a lap with winME and it works fine
so the ISDN channels are OK, any help will be apreciated.

I Will Summarize !
