Hi All,
Im setting up a mail server on solaris 8. Ive seen alot about parameters for
cylinders and inode sizing with newfs, but few if any conclusions.
With an average email size of around 80kbytes, and an average mail box size
of around 1MB, are there any benefits to be gained in terms of disk i/o
performance using 2x18GB disks concatenated. I was considering tuning the -i
and -c parameters.
Thanks much
Mark
